Tangled Thoughts

Hey lovelies, I’m really tired today so I’ll keep this short and sweet. It’s been an extremely busy week at work so forgive me if I’m not posting as much as usual 🙂

I’ve a few pieces to mention from The Fantasy Collection, the first being my lovely new hair by RunAway. How I love these soft loose braids! A relaxed and pretty style with headdress included. My dress is by Clockhaus, a simple, short t-shirt style which comes in lots of cute colours.

My wonderful sandals are by Pure Poison for the current round of We Love Roleplay, this round will end soon so you need to hurry to take advantage of the event discount. My necklace is also at the event, it’s by T.arnished and depicts the phases of the moon in various shades of wood, very cute.

The lovely pastel cacti are by Half-Deer, they also come in other colour varietes, go check them out!

The bulk of my decor is by Kalopsia, I’m using pieces from the Pearl’s Lace set at Collabor88, the Vintage Mini Set at Kustom 9, and the Betsy’s Corner set for LTD. The beauty of their decor items always amazes me, such versatile and beautiful pieces!

Heatwave

Oh how I wish I had a place like this in the summer, where I can take a long cool bath with the summer breeze on my skin while surrounded by pretty plants and flowers. At least I can have that place in second life, I can’t imagine it would be very practical in real life anyway and I’m a very practical person!

The Annex have released this pretty bikini set in the 2 for 1 room at The Chapter Four. I’ve mixed and matched the pink and blue here, there are stripy and plain versions of the tops and bottoms and other pretty colours to choose from. I love the cute bows on the sides of the bikini bottoms!

Fancy Decor has a new set out at The Men’s Dept which includes the table, tissues and lotion as well as some other pieces that make the whole set quite suggestive! The other pieces are some dirty magazines (!) and phones with dating profiles on them, the set is called Handerson, I’ll let your imagination do the rest! I’ve decided to use some of the pieces in a slightly more wholesome way to go with my outdoor bathroom type decor and I think this works really well.

Kalopsia and Vagabond have done it again with the bathtub and clothes line, both available at Uber. The bathtub comes with lots of cute poses and the rustic looking clothes line is really well done, definitely worth picking up.

Half-Deer have the cute Catty Creamery Ice-cream at Candy Fair, I’m holding the rare item, Unikitty from the set but they are all utterly delicious and sweet.

The angel wing art in the background is a chalkboard by Brixley, part of their set for Oneword which also includes some pretty curtains and a sideboard. I’m loving the angel theme this round, there are lots of pretty pieces to pick up if you’re feeling angelic like me 🙂

The Season’s Story will soon be upon us and I’m showing you a preview here of keke’s items. The pretty milk jugs with flowers and the metal boxes. This is some seriously lovely summer decor which is really pretty and versatile, be sure to check out The Season’s Story when it opens in a few days time.

Lastly I want to mention my pretty wreath by Persefona at Fair Play, I’m wearing the blue version which comes with a colour change hud for the cords. Beautifully summery I’m sure you’ll agree.

Festival Fun – Indie Teepee

Belle, Sorchiee and I are getting very excited about Indie Teepee, an annual music and arts festival opening on 10th July. This is an event you definitely won’t want to miss and if you’re super keen there’s a special pass available. The pass gives early access to the event along with the super cool limited edition teepee you see in the photo as well as other awesome bits and bobs. The fabulous dress I’m wearing is the Louise dress by Salt & Pepper, currently available at Shiny Shabby. The dress comes in 6 colour options with a hud to change the colour of the top, rope, leather and metals so plenty of mix and match options all in one dress.

Pure Poison have released the lovely Katarina sandals at Uber. They come in Slink and Maitreya versions for medium feet and in several colours. I’m wearing the multicoloured version here and I adore them, I love a wedge, me!

All We Have Is Time

Just a quick post today, work has been horrendously busy. I find second life photography to be a very relaxing hobby but I sometimes struggle for words when my day has been so full.

I want to mention the El Mundo event by Fair Play which opens some time today, for more information on the event you can find the website link under event details below. My pretty dress, belt and flower head band are new releases by Belle Epoque at the event. I love the sleeves on this dress, such an unusual shape. My collar is also from the event by Alegria, I really love this, it’s ornate and shiny!

From The Fantasy Collective I’m showing you the gorgeous Lil’Wolf Hair by (EXE), a new to me brand. I don’t have many short styles but I love how this one falls across my eye and frames my face.

My pose is part of the Angel set by Black Tulip at Oneword which opens today, the theme this round is Angels as I mentioned in a previous post.

Half-Deer has these wonderful rustic animal sculptures at Uber, I’m using the Moose here but there’s also a bear and two-headed bear available. They come in stone and wood versions with two moss options, great garden or forest decor!

The fabulously huge clock is by The Little Branch at Shiny Shabby. It comes in a couple of colour options and is so detailed and beautiful. I love the surround with it’s leafy, viney pattern.

I could be an Angel…

… well, I’d have a go!

Oneword will be opening soon with an angelic theme, 22769 will release this fabulous winged chair at the event which comes with some cute poses including the one I’m using here. I’m really looking forward to this round, I’m interested to see what the other designers come up with.

IDK is still open and my dress and necklace are both available there right now. The Misty Dress is by Cosmic Dust, a lovely and simple short sleeved design which is wonderfully shaped. It’s really easy to fit with the Maitreya body and it comes with a hud to change the skirt colour too. The Eclipse necklace is by Fetch, the pendant is bold and chunky which I love but the chain is pretty and delicate, I’m wearing the copper version here.

Sou by Creation JP has just opened and you will find these adorable ballet slippers by Katat0nik in a myriad of pretty pastels there. The flower detail is so pretty and they’re a really good shape, I can imagine wearing these with tons of outfits, think I just found my new favourite flats!

I’ve also taken the opportunity to wear the Nikohl nose chain by Le Morte again. This is such a unique piece, I just love it!

I can’t believe it’s Sunday already, I went out with friends yesterday and managed to get sunburned, in Wales mind! Anyway, I’m feeling a bit sorry for myself now so I’m off for some more SL retail therapy 🙂

The Blues

I can’t tell you how much I love these new skirts by The Annex at the current round of Cosmopolitan, I mean, look at it!! It’s so big and flouncy and girly and I love the bold print. I’m wearing the Chinoiserie pattern but the others are equally gorgeous.

I decided to go for a blue theme today to complement the lovely skirt and the blue Summer Cabin by Kalopsia for FaMESHed was perfect. It’s a cute open fronted cabin with lovely fish shaped cutouts in the back. I’ve added Heart’s Clematis, also from FaMESHed to the outside and inside for an overgrown feel.

I’ve also used some more pieces from Fancy Decor’s Postcard Journey set for The Arcade, the rare postcard chandelier and the house of postcards. I can’t get enough of this set, the pieces work in all sorts of settings.

Finally I’m yet again using keke’s Butterfly Collection set, also at The Arcade. I love butterflies and I’ve used the wall decor in quite a few photos now, that’s the pretty butterflies you can see fluttering about here. I’ve also used the rare Butterfly Screen in bright.

Summer Fun

The weather this week has been wonderful (well, for Wales anyway!) and has put me in a very summery mood. When I saw this beautiful dress by Salt & Pepper for Alice in Sexyland which opens today, I fell in love! The shape of the dress is gorgeous and kind of put me in mind of vintage bathing suits when I tried it with the lovely kneeling poses by An Lar at the current round of We ❤ Roleplay.

The lovely beach blanket is by Vagabond at LTD – The Event. It comes with the pillows and rocks, the set also contains this lovely tote bag and some wine glasses for the perfect day on the beach.

Half-Deer have yet again wowed me with the super cute crabs and jellyfish released for this round of Collabor88. They come in all sorts of sweet pastel colours and the crabs are animated, blowing bubbles!! They are just too adorable for words, I think you’ll agree.

Some more beauties from We ❤ Roleplay for you today. My stunning dress is Octavia by Les Encantades, I love the drapes and folds of this design and the jewelled waist sets it off so nicely. Another thing I like about it is that it’s short enough to wear with flat shoes without your toes poking through, it’s the perfect length!

Speaking of shoes, my lovely flats are by Pure Poison for the current round of Uber. I’m wearing the gold colour and I think they go with the dress wonderfully.

My hair is by Entwined at We ❤ Roleplay and the striking headpiece is by Zibska, part of the Fiachra set which comes with a colour change hud. I’m also wearing the Lina rings by ieQED to complete the look.

Fantasy Faire 2015

It’s finally time, Fantasy Faire is open! The builds are outstanding and there’s so many wonderful things to discover, I just wanted to share a little bit of the magic with you today. And of course this is guilt free shopping as the event is part of Relay for Life, raising funds for the American Cancer Society, more info can be found on the website.

First up, my look! The outfit, flower accessories, scales, hair, horns and necklace can all be found at Fantasy Faire. I had a difficult time choosing a first outfit to blog because there’s so much available, I’m sure I’ll be showing you plenty more in the coming days.

My fabulous hair is by Analog Dog and called Petula, I love the swishyness of it and such an unusual style. My outfit is by Bite & Claw, beautifully textured and really well fitting. The pretty scales are by Even-Tide, they come in light and dark and with all sorts of appliers. My cute horns are by Cubic Cherry Creations and also come in a variety of colours, I love that their asymmetrical! The flower accessories are by NSP, there’s also a mask in this set, not shown here. The pretty necklace is by Talevin’s Designs, so beautiful and delicate.

Today’s photo features the new release from Boudoir, the Wearable Boudoir! It’s so luxurious and intricately detailed, I just love it! You can find this in the store now.

The boudoir contains two poses but here I’ve used a pose by Musa who do an excellent range of unusual fantasy style poses.

I did add a few little touches to the scene including the wonderful Candy Chickadee birds by Half-Deer for The Liaison Collaborative. These sweet little birdies come in lots of lovely candy colours and there are animated and static versions. I also added the lovely pot of lilies which is a new release from keke, so pretty!

Also, look at these amazing shoes by Azoury! I did wear them in a previous outfit I blogged but you didn’t get to see much of them and I wanted to show them in all their glory. These beauties are available right now at IDK in three colours.

The second round of IDK opens on 16th, the theme for this round will be April Showers and today I’m showing you a little taste of what you can expect. I’m wearing yumyums Hope Lilac skin which will be available at the event, the makeup on this is a pastel dream! I’m wearing with it Clemmm’s Butcher Lips in Skin which is fantastically creepy but still manages to look cute!

We ❤ Role-Play is open and Wimey has the gorgeous Garfunkel Gown there in several colours, I’m wearing the aqua version, it’s so soft and dreamy but the metal corset section adds a little twist which I love.

I’ve used parts of keke’s amazing set for the upcoming TAG Gacha event for my scene today. The set is called “the sky is the limit” and this is what inspired today’s photo. I’m using the moon, stars screen and stars here but there are lots more pieces to collect so make sure you check it out when the event opens.
