A love like ours

Check out my new man! He’s a great listener and never answers back. These awesome skellies by CURELESS were a release for 50L Friday, find them at the mainstore in bone, black and pure. The fab thing about these is they’re mod so with a bit of patience you can position them any way you like which is great for photos.

Half-Deer have gone all romantic on us with the beautiful heart garlands and valentine tables out now at The Kawaii Project, the garland comes in different length and shape versions and both the garland and table come in several colour options.

The Vintage Kitchen

Ok so I tend to try and stay away from the kitchen as much as possible in RL, normally kitchens = work haha! I’m totally in love with this rustic kitchen set from Death Row Designs however, it’s out right now at Shiny Shabby!

There are so many pieces in this set I don’t even know where to begin, big pieces like the fridge, stove and sink all have poses included for stuff like cooking and cleaning. I love the detailing on the shelves and the beautiful textures throughout the set, the small pieces make it though, the counter clutter bits are great for adding a lived in look and there are some lovely bonus items right down to bubbles and dishes for the sink!

I’ve added a small decorative touch with the vintage garland heart cut-outs by hive for No 21. They  come in various sizes and I think they look great with my cute kitchen.

Layers

SaNaRae is about to open for a new round, you’ll find a brand new bento mesh head there from *6DOO*. I found it really quick to make a pretty shape with this head and as it’s omega ready out of the box I already had a ton of appliers to try with it. The one thing I’ve found so far is that I can’t get the neck to line up with my Belleza body, I don’t know if that’s something unique to this body or not, i haven’t tried it with others yet so make sure you demo first, aside from that I really like it!

**Updated as I just tried the head with my Slink Hourglass body and it lines up really well!

Monso have this lovely new hair out at Uber today, a quite grown up and glamorous style with beautiful loose curls tumbling down the back. I really like the height on top and the soft strands around the face.

Addams have released the Kendall Loose Shirt at the mainstore. The fatpack has a huge 41 colour options with the ability to colour the neck separately. There’s a necklace with the shirt that can be turned off and on too. The single colour packs have the necklace option only. The shirt comes in Slink, Maitreya and Belleza fits as usual. I have to confess to cheating a tiny bit to get the awesome LAZYBONES jumpsuit to fit under, it does poke through a tiny bit at the side which I’ve touched up here.

My pose is from the new Flutter Series by An Lar which will be out at SaNaRae today, this is a lovely whimsical five pose set with mirrors.

Last but not least look at the cute puppy! Black Bantam have released this cutie at No 21 this round, there are both holdable and rezzable versions available.

Hope

Here I am enjoying a crisp wintery day at lovely Neverfar, all snuggly and warm thanks to Tentacio’s Cold Day gacha set, out now at The Epiphany. I’m wearing one of the rare sweaters which comes with posed arms and vintage camera, cosy scarf and pom pom headband. The camera is adorable and I love the warm and woolly textures used throughout the set.

Dark Sparkle

Look at all the beautiful colours in my background today, this is made up of E.V.E’s latest creation for Shiny Shabby, Flowers of the Mist. The mist pieces come in four parts plus a pond piece and flower of the mist with sparkly bits. Here I’ve combined pieces 1-3 plus pond in various colours to make this wonderful nebula effect. I’m wearing the septum piercing and collar from Cerberus Xing’s Sacrosanct gacha set which also has earcuffs and blindfolds to collect, the collar is a rare item and comes in gunmetal, gold or silver.

My pretty dress is by Violent Seduction, I’m sure you’ll agree the texturing on this is divine and it fits Maitreya like a glove. I’m really impressed with this one! My rings and hair are also at the event along with tons more pretty stuff.

The latest round of Collabor88 has the theme Chic Gym and I thought I’d get in on the act with these adorable pastel pretty sets from Kalopsia and Sari-Sari.

Kalopsia’s set includes the yoga mat, large shelf set, bag, ball and weights. The mat comes with lots of great animations which make me want to take up RL yoga again. I’ve used one of them for my picture today.

Sari-Sari’s new set includes the lockers, small shelf, resistance bands and bench, I love that the lockers are pink! Soooo girly. These sets work so nicely together I think you’ll agree.

Another item from Collabor88 is my hair by Monso, a lovely loose high braid, perfect for exercising, keep that hair off your face.

I’m wearing Addams Tamara Gym Leggings which I told you about in a previous post, I’m also wearing the matching Gloria Yoga Shoes, the fatpack comes with 30 colour options as well as a whole host of mix and match options for the various parts of the shoe. The crow’s lament

Memento Mori has opened for it’s second ever round, this is an event you should definitely visit if you like the gothic and the macabre. Most of my look today consists of bits and bobs from the event, based around the Crow set by Naminoke which includes my anklets, cuffs, mask, collar and shawl. I’m wearing the albino version but of course they also come in black!

I also really like the Laceration applier by NOX, these are the little cuts you can see on my arms, legs and chest. This is an omega applier so will work with most meshy bits. My eyes and eye makeup are also from the event, by Conviction. This is the second eye/makeup set of theirs I’ve tried and I must say I’m really impressed with them. I like that I can apply separate colours to each eye too.

An Lar’s pose set for Memento Mori is the quirky and beautiful Dollie Series, a five pose set with mirrors. They are great photographic inspiration and work very well with the theme of the event.

The Epiphany is coming really soon, I’m wearing some lacy bits from Dead Dollz upcoming set for the event, Italian Widow. My gloves, socks, bra and pants are all from this set which comes in various colours with a pretty lace dress with hud as the rare item. This round of The Epiphany promises to be amazing, I’ll bring you more previews soon.

The beautiful screens I’ve used in the décor are by keke for the latest Deco(c)rate box which went out on 8th January. If you missed it you can still pick it up, albeit at an increased price, at the HQ, landmark below. The spiky bits in the décor are by E.V.E from the Broken Souls set for Memento Mori.
